Polar Bear II by urbanimal Polar Bear II by urbanimal
Fineliners, gel pens and coloured pencils on 210 297mm bristol board.

Polar Bear is one of the first totem spirits I worked with. To me, he represents inner resilience and strength, confidence, the ability to stride out on your own path and protection.

This is a gift for my best friend. He means the world to me, and I hope he realises it.

Beautiful! I love how you do your outlines, they really make the picture pop, especially with the paper you used :)

Thank you.

The outlines are inspired by my earlier inking work (from back in the day when I did furry art) and of course the very talented Ravenari. I don't know if you follow her work here, but she is incredibly talented.

Ooooh, pretty! More detail than I thought one could do with a white-furred animal.
